This Tony Pedregon KISS 2001 Ford Mustang Funny Car carries one of the most unforgettable crossovers to ever hit a drag strip: the face-painted, fire-breathing world of KISS on a nitro-burning Mustang. Schemes like this turned every grandstand into a front row, and they are a big part of what made early-2000s drag racing so much fun to follow.
Pedregon was no passenger, either. A cornerstone of John Force Racing's Mustang era, he went on to win the 2003 NHRA Funny Car world championship, the title that ended John Force's record run of 10 consecutive championships.
Released in 2001 by Action / Lionel ARC for the MAC Tools Collectors Club, this 1:24 scale replica is one of only 3,000 produced.
