Some liveries outran their eras. The Army car never lifted.
This Don Prudhomme Army 1974 Plymouth 'Cuda Funny Car carries one of the most recognizable sponsorships of the 1970s: The Snake's U.S. Army 'Cuda, the car from the season that set up one of the great runs in drag racing, four consecutive NHRA Funny Car world championships from 1975 through 1978.
Produced in 2002 by 1320 Inc in 1:24 scale with a production run of just 5,000 pieces, it is a harder Prudhomme replica to track down. It belongs with the collector who knows the sound a nitro car makes before it ever leaves the line.
